i dont think microsoft would pay for exclusivity from a 3rd party and give them free reign to do whatever they want. thats like asking a contractor to build you a house anyway he likes. it makes more sense that the owned devs would naturally have more freedom
even with its its social funding success i still feel like people are sleeping on this game
i seriously hope yall are kidding. it would NOT be smart for them to just drop it and move on to tekken 7. namco has already stated that the development has not ceased and remains in steady production. the only reason i see for their silence is that theyre waiting to be presentable or nearly complete. the long development time just proves how much time and dedication theyve put into this game as opposed to capcom with sf x tekken.
i expect tekken x street fighter to dominate...

i agree about the mech but thats sbout the only thing that impressed me.
is it just me or does this gameplay look kinda static. I mean c'mon there are mmorpgs coming out with better looking combat... if this is nintendos ace in the box then i fear for them as i would rather play monster hunter 3 ultimate which, even on 3ds, looks more engaging then this outdated uneventful ff13 esque menu button fighter.The visuals are about the only thing that it has going for me.

you know i wonder what he thinks about metal gear solids story. because if you think about it mgs and kingdom hearts pretty similar in terms of base mechanics. for instance they both have intricate stories(hideo kojima does a better job at telling mgs imo), they both blend the lines between japanese and western entertainment, and they both have combat mechanics that are rarely perfected in other games/end rant
